Being a Greek girl from a Big Fat Greek family I have always been fascinated by ancient Greek myths and ideas! Sophrosyne has always stuck with me; probably because I am usually the opposite of moderate and temperate in almost every way! I find myself to be extreme and obsessive, 0 to 100; black or white about everything I encounter.
This little blog, is an experiment in the hopes I can stick to my goals and chronicle my challenges and (hopeful) triumphs along the way! I'm not sure if I will have any readers, but if I do, I hope it encourages them to also find some balance in this crazy world too!
Katie lives with her husband Gordon, two cats Phantom and Wisp, and puppy Griffin in Pittsburgh, PA, where she is a full-time pharmacist. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Exhalations Dance Theatre, and is an avid media consumer.
